Shaanan Shetty MD

Dr. Shetty is originally from Tallahassee, Florida. He completed his undergraduate studies at Duke University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in biology. Dr. Shetty earned his medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis, and he remained in St. Louis for his internship at Mercy Hospital. He returned to Washington University to complete his dermatology residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital where he served as chief resident during his final year. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the Atlanta Association for Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery.

Dr. Shetty sees patients of all ages. His areas of interest include all aspects of general medical dermatology including skin cancer, psoriasis, eczema, contact dermatitis, and acne as well as surgical dermatology. Outside of work, he enjoys playing guitar, exercising, watching Duke Basketball, and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
